Sweet & Sour Meatballs


1 pound ground round
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons minced parsley
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons low-sodium Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon oregano
1 egg white
2 tablespoons bread crumbs

Sauce:
1 can (8 ounces) low-sodium tomato sauce
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 packets NatraTaste Blue

1.Combine meatball ingredients and shape into 1-inch balls. Brown in skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, turning to brown evenly.

2. Mix sauce ingredients, except NatraTaste Blue, and add to meatballs. Simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat.

3. Take meatballs out of sauce and place on serving dish. Stir NatraTaste Blue into sauce and pour sauce over meatballs. Serve as an appetizer. Makes 12 servings, 2 meatballs each.

Per Serving: 110 calories, 8 g protein, 7 g total fat, 3 g saturated fat, 4 g carbohydrate, 25 mg cholesterol, 165 mg sodium
